Blue Cat wanted some ice cream, and so he got it out of the freezer and looked for something to dish it out with. Blue Cat has lots of spoons at his house, and so it was easy to find a spoon to do the dishing. And he was going to eat it with a spoon anyway, so it seemed like a good idea. But it wasn’t…
It turns out that the ice cream was tougher than the spoon, so now Blue Cat still didn’t have any ice cream, and he doesn’t have a way to eat it, either. Poor Blue Cat!
What he should have done was take an extra minute to look for the right tool – one that was made for the job…
Blue Cat learned an important lesson – you should always use the right tool for the job, even if it takes a little longer to get it out. Now if he can just decide on the right tool for stapling some papers together…
