Blue Cat has been hiding out for a while – he got a new job and was working a lot harder than usual (which for Blue Cat wasn’t very much at all). Fortunately things are getting better and he’s back to traveling about and doing interesting things.
This month he got to visit a real farm and spend some time with his family. The farm is called 4 Farthings and it’s 4 acres of interesting-ness. There are goats and ducks and chickens as well as two really big dogs who keep everyone safe. (Except for Blue Cat – Blue Cat was scared of the dogs and hid from them a lot.)
Here are some of the smaller inhabitants.

But 4 Farthings has something even better – Blue Cat’s family (and the family of his scribe as well). Here’s Blue Cat’s brother, Green Cat, along with a cute friend who takes care of Green Cat and keeps him out of trouble (mostly).

Visiting family is really important to Blue Cat, because he really likes his family and loves to do things with them. On this trip Blue Cat got to lie around the house with his brother (a favorite pastime of the Cat family) as well as help out with jarring peaches, making salsa, and gathering vegetables from the garden. He also got to watch a movie with his brother and meet some new friends (like Taco the parakeet – but that’s another story).
Blue Cat had a great time on his trip to the farm. If you’d like to find out more about 4 Farthings, you can visit their Facebook page here. (Blue Cat wishes he had a Facebook page, but he has to figure out how to get one without looking like one of those “fake news” sites. There’s such discrimination against crocheted cats!) Check it out and let Blue Cat know what you think!
PS – Blue Cat has a new email address. You can reach him at bluecat3454@gmail.com. Drop him a line and let him know what you’d like him to blog about.
