It might seem strange, but Blue Cat is thankful for dogs. Now Blue Cat is … well … a cat, and cats don’t get along well with dogs. And being a small, crocheted cat makes it even worse, because Blue Cat really resembles a dog toy and doesn’t take well to chewing and licking. But he’s still grateful for dogs nonetheless.
Blue Cat knows two very special dogs:
This dog is Bosco. Bosco is very good at knowing when you’re not feeling well and then cuddling up next to you. And his cuddling is very relaxing because he does it when he’s asleep. As you can see…
This dog is Teddy. Teddy has many special talents, but the one that Blue Cat appreciates the most is Teddy’s ability to know when it’s time to go to bed. When Blue Cat is especially tired, Teddy will whine at him until he takes Teddy to the bed and lays down with him. While this might seem like an imposition, it’s really a great way for Blue Cat to know that he’s more tired than he thinks. And Teddy is really great to sleep with – he doesn’t take up much room, is warm, and stays down at the foot of the bed.
So Blue Cat is grateful for his dogs – and dogs in general since they all seem to have special abilities to make people feel better.
