Tuesday is a general election in the United States, with voting for local initiatives all the way up to President of the United States. While Blue Cat won’t ever tell you how to vote, he really encourages you to actually vote.
And Blue Cat strongly encourages you to do some research and think about what you’re voting for (or against) – there are a lot of misleading advertisements and mailers as well as some really interesting opinions on the Internet. Blue Cat’s family sits around the dinner table and talks through each initiative so there’s discussion on facts and thoughts. There’s time for you to do something like that this weekend if you’re still getting ready to vote.
In Colorado we have the ability to mail in or drop off our ballots early – in addition to voting in person on election day. Blue Cat chose the former – as you can see, he’s ready to drop off his ballot. And is proud to wear the ‘I voted” sticker that came And is proud to wear the “I voted” sticker that came with it.
