Blue Cat Loses Some Weight

Blue Cat is thinking about his weight. You’d think that he wouldn’t be, but he checked the guidelines and he’s a bit over the ideal weight for a crocheted cat his size. And he’s looking a little pudgy around the middle… So Blue Cat decided to do something about it. He researched a lot of diets […]

Happy Mother’s Day from Blue Cat

Today is Mother’s Day in the United States – a day where we celebrate our mothers and the sacrifices they make to help us be successful. Blue Cat says that it doesn’t matter if you’re a biological mother, an adoptive mother, a grandmother, or any other kind of mother. You can even be a crocheting-creator-mother. […]

The Truth About the Sphinx

Blue Cat’s scribe has been a great many places – one of which is Egypt. While there, he was able to see one of Blue Cat’s favorite monuments, the Great Sphinx, in person. Blue Cat found the pictures from the trip the other day and was very excited, because the Sphinx is supposedly the body […]

Blue Cat Takes a Class

Blue Cat (and his scribe) signed up for WordPress’ Blogging 201 course, which is going to help them increase traffic to their blogs and build their blog brands. One of Blue Cat’s first assignments was to write down some goals for his blog – so here they are: 1. Have 100 hits per week […]

Blue Cat Makes Breakfast

Sometimes Blue Cat wants something new for breakfast, but he never wants to spend a lot of time cooking. That would mean a lot of cold cereal and milk, but Blue Cat also knows that it’s best to have protein at every meal, and a cup of milk just doesn’t have enough protein for all […]

Blue Cat Finds Inspiration

Blue Cat has been having some trouble blogging lately. Mostly because he’s been busy supporting his scribe in his new job as well as keeping track of all the cookies that are in the house. But Valentine’s Day changed all of that. You see, Blue Cat’s scribe brought home a gift for Mrs. Scribe from […]

Blue Cat Goes to the Post Office

Blue Cat gets a lot of mail. Actually, Blue Cat gets a lot of junk mail, but he thinks it’s cool anyway. All those credit cards and house loans and special offers! He’s even on the mailing list for the Publisher’s Clearing House Sweepstakes! The problem is that Blue Cat’s mailbox is very small. That […]

Here are some shots from Blue Cat’s front porch proving that it does snow in Colorado: Blue Cat takes a drive every morning, and this morning’s […]

Blue Cat Helps Make Soap

Blue Cat’s family is always trying new things, and the latest is making homemade soap. Blue Cat doesn’t really use soap (he’s very delicate and like most cats is not overly fond of water) but he appreciates it. And homemade soap is both economical and fun. And Blue Cat likes fun. Soap is made from […]

Blue Cat Enjoys His Trip

Blue Cat doesn’t like traveling as much as you might think. He misses being with his family, and things can be pretty dull after a long day of meetings. However, there are two benefits – service and sleep. Blue Cat’s house gets really busy with so many folks in it. With four people, three dogs, […]
