Blue Cat Gets a Job

Blue Cat got a new job last week. He is now the official mascot of TheNewStrategist.com – his scribe’s new website that aims to help people realize their visions for their organizations and lives. There’s even a link from the site to this blog so readers can see the lighter side of being a strategist. One […]

Blue Cat Goes Green

Blue Cat is very environmentally conscious – you have to be when you’re make of mostly natural materials. (But then, aren’t we all?) But he decided to go “green” in a big way today. But not the way you think. In honor of St Patrick’s day, Blue Cat went for the color green – with […]

Blue Cat Wishes You a Happy Saint Patrick’s Day

Today is St Patrick’s Day! Blue Cat met a pretty Irish Dancer who was on her way to dance in the St Patrick’s Day Parade yesterday: The parade and shows she did were really fun and interesting, and Blue Cat learned some things about St Patrick. Did you know that he was taken prisoner from […]

Blue Cat Plans to Influence a Judge

Blue Cat’s scribe is testing for his 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo, and he’s really worried that he might get a “down-check” at his recommendation test this weekend. Becoming a 3rd degree black belt is serious business, and there’s lots of curriculum he needs to know. But Blue Cat has a plan… Blue Cat […]

Blue Cat Needs Some Help

Hi – this is Blue Cat. My scribe has been very busy lately getting ready for his 3rd degree black belt test in Taekwondo, and he hasn’t had time to help me with my blog. So I need some help. Here’s a picture of me with my new fez – a friend gave it to […]

Blue Cat Looks a Different Way

Blue Cat went to Sonic and had some tasty food – a hot dog to be exact. And, as usual, they gave him a mint at the end of the meal. As you can see, the mint says “Sonic” on it – well, because it’s from Sonic. But then he looked at it a different […]

Blue Cat Hides Out

Sometimes you just need to stay out of dangerous situations. You might think you can handle things, but why take the chance? If you’re trying to lose weight, you just don’t need that pack of Oreos staring at you every time you open the cupboard, and you don’t need to go out for a loaf […]

Blue Cat Reads the Directions

Blue Cat wanted a nice treat after last week’s meat loaf, and he decided on some Botan Rice Candy. It even had a free “children’s sticker” inside (which he was hoping would be fun for a crocheted cat as well). He ran into trouble, though – the candy had two wrappers on it, and the […]

Blue Cat Lets Things Soak

Blue Cat’s family had meat loaf for dinner the other night. Yummy meat loaf with carrots inside, and 3 kinds of ground meat. The problem is that yummy meat loaf takes a long time to cook, and the baking dish can get quite crusty… Blue Cat wanted to help clean up, but he’s not so […]

Blue Cat Rescues a Refugee

Blue Cat had the opportunity to rescue a refugee from the Christmas season. Most years, all the “Christmas Decorations” (things that are wintery and Christmas-y) go back into storage at the start of the new year, but this year was different. You see, Blue Cat made a new friend, and he wanted to let him […]
